Daniel G. Zeigler is the Sheriff Of Carbon County PA with a 24-year career in the Criminal Justice field, with a focus on Law Enforcement in the last 9 years. He was hired by the Carbon County Pennsylvania Sheriff's Office in August of 2020 as the first-ever Captain and three months later was promoted to Chief Deputy. He was then appointed to the position of Sheriff in January 2022. In each of these positions, he was in charge of the Sheriff's Office's daily operations and overall functioning. Sheriff Zeigler continues to focus on improving safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in the Sheriff's Office and engaging with communities throughout the county. As a collaborative leader, Sheriff Zeigler continues to work with all county departments, elected officials, and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to make our county safer for our children.
